MS – L.E.A.D.S. Law Enforcement Active De-escalation Strategies
Active Diffusion Strategies’ professional development courses and workshops provide organizations with first-rate internal and external communication and de-escalation training. We focus on honing interpersonal, intrapersonal, de-escalation, and conflict resolution skills. Our company has provided, for the past 10 years, the highest level of communication training to civilian companies, organizations, law enforcement, judicial branches and educators. Students we have trained use our material and demonstrated skills because they have proven to be transferrable to real life situations.
We live in a time of unrest when there has never been a greater need for interpersonal as well as intrapersonal communication and de-escalation training.
Large amounts of money are being invested by civilian organizations and police agencies in order to create safer environments for workers. USA Today, Psychology Today and The Washington Post, among others, have reported on increasingly rude and bullying behaviors in the workplace.
By teaching communication skills, whether communicating worker-to-worker, worker-to-customer, or officer-to-citizen, we create a safer working environment by empowering those trained to take charge by using positive strategies before negative action becomes the reality.
The skills we teach are street tested and proven by those who have been trained. We have strong anecdotal evidence of success. The training has proven to be invaluable for civilians as well as law enforcement officers (in today’s world, physical training is not enough). Civilian companies, organizations and educators can equip their workers with practical tools that will make the workplace a safer place. Law enforcement leaders looking to provide our 21st century officers with the skills they need to serve today’s communities need look no further.
